HYBRID WORK CAUSES HEADACHES
The debate around hybrid versus full-time
in-office work continues for workplaces across
the globe, but opinions vary depending
on where you live and work. A survey by
Korn Ferry shows that of the 59 per cent of
global employees who are working full-time
in the office, only 19 per cent actually want
to be there. For 48 per cent, hybrid working
arrangements would be ideal, and 25 per cent
would prefer fully remote arrangements.
In Australia, almost 60 per cent work full-time
in an office, but only about 17 per cent view this
as ideal. In Japan, almost 70 per cent work in
an office full-time, but it is the preference for
around 36 per cent. Meanwhile, in India, more
than 60 per cent work from an office full-time
and less than 18 per cent view this as ideal.
