As more businesses integrate AI into
their operations, cyber risk becomes
more complex. Research from insurer
QBE shows 29 per cent of businesses
globally have experienced cyber
attacks that leveraged AI in the past
year and 63 per cent are concerned
about potential risks arising from their
suppliers’ use of AI.
Of the businesses that experienced
cyber attacks, 65 per cent said that
some or all of them were related to a
supplier and 57 per cent experienced
a loss of revenue as a result.
The research also shows that
while 82 per cent of businesses
have a cyber incident response plan,
room for improvement is highest
in the United Arab Emirates and
New Zealand, where 27 per cent
and 26 per cent of businesses
respectively do not have a plan
in place.
43%
of workers in Singapore would leave an employer specifically
to improve their work–life balance.
