Asia-Pacific small business survey
The findings from CPA Australia’s 2025–26 small business survey
provide insight into growth, digital capability and AI investment
across 11 Asia-Pacific markets. The survey identifies what sets
high-growth businesses apart and finds that most markets expect
stronger conditions in 2026, despite falling short of 2025 expectations.

Scams Prevention Framework
CPA Australia supports the intent of the Australian Treasury’s
Scams Prevention Framework, but flags risks for small businesses
relying on digital platforms to advertise. It recommends a timely
internal dispute resolution mechanism for wrongly blocked
ads or deactivated accounts, proportionate ad-screening tied
to actual scam risk, and clarity on whether small business
victims can access the same redress pathways as consumers.
