CPA AUSTRALIA
Advocacy update
CPA Australia’s policy team advocates for the interests of the accounting profession,
members and the public. Here is some of their recent work.
“With around 80,000 entities now brought into the regime,
many practitioners are still coming to terms with what the
AML/CTF reforms actually mean in practice. Our message
to members is simple: do not wait. The guidance is available
now on both AUSTRAC and CPA Australia’s websites,
and the 1 July 2026 deadline will come quickly.”
