Advocacy update
CPA Australia’s policy team advocates for the interests of the accounting profession,
members and the public. Here is some of their recent work.
“Australia’s retirement income system should facilitate financial
security and dignity for retirees — but that only happens when
strong governance, trustworthy advice and accessible support
work together. Good regulation protects savings on the way up,
and quality advice helps Australians make those savings last.”
RICHARD WEBB, SUPERANNUATION LEAD, CPA AUSTRALIA

complexity and a shrinking adviser workforce put services out

new delivery models and emerging technologies may help put
advice within reach for more people.
