As we celebrate CPA Australia’s milestone,
we are reminded that our organisation has never

For 140 years, our profession has evolved, adapted
and risen to meet new challenges. Accounting may
be one of civilisation’s oldest callings, yet its
endurance rests on timeless principles that our

ethics, championed by more than 176,000 members
in boardrooms, communities and organisations
throughout the world. They are the foundation
of trust in markets, the assurance that protects
