for businesses

(AI) into business operations
is a key priority for businesses
this year — and employees are
keen to upskill in this area. A global
survey from cloud-based team
communication platform Slack
shows 97 per cent of executives
say they “feel some level of urgency
to incorporate AI into business
operations”. More than 75 per cent
of employees also “feel urgency
to become an AI expert”, with
the top two reasons cited being
industry trends and personal goals.
AI adoption has steadily increased
across the globe. Slack’s research
estimates that between September
2023 and March 2024, AI adoption
grew from 20 per cent to 32 per cent
of all office workers.
