The International Ethical Standards Board for
Accountants (IESBA) will focus on enhancing
the culture and governance of accounting firms
and possibly extending ethical standards to
non-professional accountants.
IESBA chair Gabriela Figueiredo Dias
emphasises the need for accountants to
foster “good culture and governance within
firms” to prevent unethical behaviour.
We must stay informed and agile to comply with
new regulations without hindering innovation.
