Putting a pin in
corporate lingo
Corporate jargon can be a source
of frustration, and Reckon recently surveyed
1000 Australian office workers to determine
its prevalence and the general attitudes
towards it. The survey found that seven
out of 10 office workers in Australia use
corporate jargon to communicate in the
workplace. While a third enjoy or like using
it when appropriate, 24 per cent find
corporate jargon confusing or difficult
to understand, and a fifth don’t like it.
Here are the 11 phrases they like the least.
