CPA Australia’s 15th annual report on small business issues
and sentiment across 11 economies in the Asia-Pacific shows
that high-growth small businesses share several characteristics.
Here is a snapshot:
• technology investment that quickly improves their profitability
• use of online sales
• seeking professional advice, especially from IT and
business consultants
• protecting their business from cyberattacks
• introduction of new products, services or processes
to nurture innovation
• focus on customer satisfaction, business strategy,
business management and technology.

of all occupations will be affected by

but almost half of Australian employers
say they are not prioritising training budgets
to address skills gaps.
