for a screenless audio computer,
IYO ONE. Unlike current voice
assistants that require specific
commands, the device reacts to
these requests intuitively. Rugolo
demonstrates how a user can
converse naturally with the device
to run email or web searches
and reveals how users can curate
sounds around them – translating
conversations in real time, for
example, or blocking out background
noise. This talk is a fascinating
glimpse into the future.

A team of IMD Business School
professors have spent the past
decade researching the types of
questions that are most often posed
in the business world. In a three-year
project, they asked executives to
“question-storm” about the decisions
they have faced and how they have
gone about finding solutions.
In this article, they share their
findings, highlighting the five
types of questions – investigative,
speculative, productive, interpretive
and subjective – that leaders and
teams should ask to guide their
strategic decision-making. They also
offer practical tips to help people
perfect their questioning style.

different areas of the business.
These choices determine investor
and stakeholder levels of approval
and consequently the player’s final
score. This game is a fun way to
get a sense of the tough choices
that leaders must make every day,
as well as the repercussions.
